Job Description

Job Duties: Imbuesys, Inc. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, is seeking System Analysts II to analyze computer science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems in order to implement, customize and improve computer systems. Uses advanced occupational knowledge of systems analysis processes and tools to perform the following duties:

Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

Expand, customize or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

Perform testing, maintenance, and monitoring of computer programs and systems, as well as coordination of installation of computer programs and systems.

Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

Provide assistance in solving computer related problems, including malfunctions and program issues.

Analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems and correct code errors.

Consult with Management to ensure understanding on system principles.

Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.

Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to accurately develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.

Coordinate and link computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and allow for information sharing.

Determine computer software or hardware needs in order to set up or alter system.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related position.

No travel or telecommuting.

Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project.
