Job Description

Job Duties: Imbuesys, Inc. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, is seeking System Analysts I to analyze computer science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems in order to implement, customize and improve computer systems. Performed under close supervision, the duties and responsibilities of the position are as follows:

Receive instruction from Project Manager regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.

Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

Serve as junior member of project team to expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

Participate in testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems.

Assist in developing, documenting and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

Assist in solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.

Participate in locating and correcting code errors.

Consult manuals and technical reports to aide in developing programs that meet staff and user requirements.

Link computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and allow for information sharing.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study, and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Employer will accept a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor's degree, including a foreign degree.

No travel or telecommuting.

Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project.
